Description: Figuary is drawing challenge I first came across in 2019. It encourages artists of all skill levels to practice their figure drawing skills by drawing from live models daily.
Back in 2019, if you participated in Figuary, you had 2 amazing YouTube channels that collaborated. Once was a Croquis Cafe’s whose owner daily posted a video with model posing. The other was Love Life Drawing. There, you could find daily feedback/commentary videos related to the poses from Croquis Cafe’s channel.
Unfortunately, Croquis Cafe’s content is no longer freely available. If you want to access the posing videos, you need a paid membership on their website. However, you can learn a lot from Love Life Drawing playlist here:

Yes, the format is different now 😂 I cannot stand to have it cropped with IG’s new rectangle grid. This year, in February, I’m embracing the Valentine’s vibes. To be honest, I just really wanted a red and pink colour palette. But I also enjoy the potential for kitschyness and playful love-themed vibes. Very Sabrina Carpenter, you know? Vintage lipstick and babydolls and candy and just a little bit of magic. I think it will be fun and a colourful challenge to offset they greyness (if you’re in the northern hemisphere), or to accompany the end(ish) of summer (if you’re in the southern hemisphere).
